Featured Column in HIMSS HIELights Newsletter
HIMSS HIELights, a monthly newsletter featuring extended coverage of all aspects of health information exchange (HIE) including state and regional level HIE activities, is published on the first Thursday of the month, and is a complimentary resource for HIMSS members, HIE organizations, regional extension centers, government agencies and anyone involved and interested in today's health information exchange activities.
Laura Kolkman and Bob Brown write a monthly column on health information exchange for the HIMSS HIELights newsletter. The columns are based on their recently published book, The Health Information Exchange Formation Guide. Each month, the authors discuss current HIE related events and leading practices within the context of forming an HIE initiative in your state, region or community.
